Two new official SD Eibar supporters' clubs: “Peña Iru” in honour of Irureta and “Peña Vasca in Ecuador”
From now on SD Eibar has two new official supporters' clubs; one being the Peña Iru to pay homage to Iruretagoiena, and the other the Peña Vasca in Ecuador. With these new additions Eibar now has 21 official supporters' clubs.
The goalkeeper from Berriatua, Xabi Iruretagoiena, now has his own official supporters' club, called “Peña Iru”, which is based in Eibar and will soon celebrate its official inauguration.
Ecuador joins the list of countries with an Official Eibar Supporters' club; with this one there are now 11 different nationalities with a group of followers that support the gunsmiths. La Peña Vasca in Ecuador is based in Guayaquil and its president is Gustavo Izurieta Chacón who together with his mates from the fan club closely follows news on the team, thanks to the website and the club’s official social networks.
