The SD Eibar Veterans’ Association represents the club’s living history and embodies the ‘Armeros’ values that have characterised the club over the years. Its members preserve and pass on Eibar’s legacy, strengthening the link between the past, present and future.

The Association is organised into two committees which work in coordination to carry out their various areas of activity:

• Institutional Committee
• Sports Committee

The Association’s main objective is to preserve and strengthen the relationship between the club’s former players and their legacy, promoting values such as camaraderie, commitment and a deep connection to Eibar’s history.

Main areas of focus

Social gatherings and activities

Organising meetings, guided tours, lunches, dinners and various activities that enable former members to reconnect, share experiences and keep their ties with the club alive.

Social and sporting activities

Participation in friendly matches and veterans’ tournaments, as well as involvement in charitable initiatives and community events, reinforcing the club’s commitment to society and its supporters.

Preserving historical memory

Organising activities aimed at preserving and promoting the club’s history: travelling exhibitions, commemorative publications (such as the 75th-anniversary book), interviews and various initiatives that keep the club’s history alive. Furthermore, members of the Association take part in events in the Presidential Box and may be invited to matches at Ipurua

Institutional representation

The Association takes part in official club events and those of the various competitions, acting on behalf of former players and as a direct link to the club’s history.

For Eibar supporters, the Veterans’ Association is a symbol of identity, tradition and continuity, which naturally links the club’s history with its present.
