The SD Eibar Marketing Department presents the novelties for the coming season

The event was attended by the President, Amaia Gorostiza

The President of SD Eibar, Amaia Gorostiza, the Managing Director Patricia Rodríguez, and the Marketing Director, Gema Baqué, together with the other members of this Department (Ainara López de Viñaspre and Nagore Elorza), took part in an informative breakfast today during which they presented the novelties in this area for next season.
In her opening address, Amaia Gorostiza stressed that the Marketing Department is “a key element in any company and also, of course, in a top-tier football club”.
“At Eibar we are giving it the relevance it deserves and our wish is to strengthen it and make it one of the pillars of our consolidation in football’s elite”.
For her part, after introducing the people who form part of the Department, Gema Baqué highlighted that agreements had been reached to renew the deals with two of the Club’s main sponsors, Avia and Wiko, with the sponsorship of the shirt-sleeve (that will no longer carry the Eibar City Council logo) pending confirmation. Furthermore, the process of renewal of the remaining sponsors and advertisers is under way.
Regarding the internationalisation of the Club, Gema Baqué remarked that following the positive experience of the end-of-season tour to the USA, one of the objectives is to approach the markets of China and Japan with initiatives of different kinds.
Another novelty is the renewal of all the membership cards, which will be effective from the start of the season in August.
Until the building works to the East stand are concluded –in January if the deadlines are met– because of space limitations Eibar does not intend to put tickets on sale and cannot provide tickets to visiting teams.
The Club will encourage the assignment of seats so that season ticket holders who cannot come to Ipurua give up their seat, receiving in return 40 percent of the price of the ticket if it is sold, with the maximum under the scheme being 50 percent of the price of the annual season ticket.
Regarding the sale of sporting goods and other Club merchandise, it was announced that the Club plans to open a shop at Ipurua, maintaining Askasibar as the official shop in Eibar, as well as the online shop. The Club intends to extends the range of products on sale.
The Marketing Director also made reference to the Summer Football Camp having a record number of participants and said that from August there will be a new first-team coach that is more modern and functional.
It was also announced that from September the Club will launch robotics courses for school students, in coordination with Wiko and Eibar City Council.
