The Eibar veterans will attend the 50th Anniversary of CD Roteta

The game finished with a 3-3 draw

On Saturday 3 June, SD Eibar's team of veterans took part in the game commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the San Sebastian team CD Roteta, held in the Herrera stadium and which ended in a 3-3 draw.

This recognition is in addition to the reception, organised by the Chairwoman of Eibar, Amaia Gorostiza, in honour of Ion Otxoa, Chairman of CD Roteta, in the presidential box of Ipurua stadium, during the last game of the Spanish League, where he was awarded the gold insignia commemorating the fiftieth anniversary.

During the run-up to the friendly match at Herrera, both captains exchanged gifts, including the traditional gift of veteran armourers: the butt of a shotgun carved in wood.

On the pitch we could see some of the great names of Eibar, who took the lead, thanks to Bixente Oyarzabal, their captain, although Roteta drew a few minutes later.

The game finished a 3-3 draw. Eibar's goals were scored by Bienes, Retegi and Amadeo.

There was a magnificent atmosphere at Herrera, which was completed with a barbecue for all the players. ¡Zorionak CD Roteta!
