Second straight win for women's first team
Once again an injury-time strike saw the Armeras clinch victory, this time with Añorga on the receiving end
SD Eibar Women are currently sitting joint top of Group 2 in Segunda División after claiming a 1-0 win over Añorga KKE at Unbe.
Just as was the case on Matchday 1 against San Ignacio, an injury-time goal handed the Armeras victory in what was a very hard-fought encounter.
In an even opening half, which was largely bereft of goalscoring opportunities, it was Añorga who made the greater inroads into the opposition's box.
In the second period, the chances started to come thick and fast, with the visitors enjoying the first few openings. However, Eibar it was who came closest to scoring, when an Añorga defended hacked the ball off the line following a corner.
With the game virtually over and into injury time, Irantzu Ibarrola pounced to secure a second successive win for Xuban Peña's ladies.
