SD Eibar to pay tribute to former presidents, directors, coaches and players
The event, which has been on the agenda since the club's 75th anniversary, will take place once the construction work on the East Stand has been completed
SD Eibar is currently working on the organisation of an event to pay tribute to its former presidents, directors, coaches and players in recognition of the role they've played in the club's current success.
The ceremony, which is being organised by the SD Eibar Foundation as a part of the 75th anniversary celebrations, is yet to have been staged because of logistical issues and the construction work being undertaken at Ipurua.
The tribute, which will take place on a home matchday, will involve a lunch, the venue of which is to be confirmed (depending on the number of attendees), and an invitation to cheer the team on at the game.
The club will cover the costs of the event, including the lunch, although there is a €15 fee to secure a place, with the money raised going to charity. With this tribute, SD Eibar are seeking to express their gratitude to a large number of individuals who have worked with effort and dedication, in many instances on a voluntarily basis, to raise the club to the privileged position which it currently finds itself in, whilst above all promoting and fostering the values which best define us as a club.
