SD Eibar Foundation & Wiko launch second edition of Robotics course
The second term begins on 9 January and runs until 24 March
In the wake of the success enjoyed by the first instalment of the Robotics course for children aged 8 - 17 years, the SD Eibar Foundation, alongside sponsor Wiko, have launched the second edition of the course. The registration period is currently open for the second part of the course, which begins on 9 January and ends on 24 March, with classes running from 17:00 - 18:45 at the Training Centre located in the North Stand. Registration can be completed via the following link https://www.sdeibar.com/fundazioa/formacion/robotika-inscripcion or at the club's Ipurua offices from 10:00 - 14:00 and 16:00 - 20:00 from Monday to Friday.
The course, which is aimed at children, seeks to foster creativity through play, whilst also helping participants to organise their thoughts when solving problems. During the course of the second term, youngsters will be divided up into three age groups and will undertake challenges including making a robotic football pitch with model players, a ball, goalposts and even supporters, all of which will be synchronised and interactive, whilst students are also set to be offered an introduction to the design of video games.
