Joseba Etxeberria: "The best way to win is to get back to our best"

The Eibar coach stresses that "the fact that we need to get back to winning ways is going to keep us on our toes"

Joseba Etxeberria stated that "the best way to win is to get back to our best play".

Speaking at the press conference ahead of Saturday's game at Ipurua (16:15) against Villarreal B, the Eibar coach stressed that "the point of needing to get back to winning ways is going to make us more alert" as he said "it's important to get back to our best game. We're psyched, we need the points to stay up there".

JOSEBA ETXEBERRIA’S PRESS CONFERENCE QUOTES

“Every time you lose it’s a bit harder at the start of the week, but we know what it’s like, and after a blow you have to reset and prepare well during the week to be ready to win.”

“The last two results at home have been defeats and now we have a new opportunity, which will make us alert and focused on playing a good game and get back to our best play, our attacking play, to have the feeling that we can create goal-scoring chances.”

“Despite the error which led to the goal in the last game, our team has been more defensively solid than in the past two or three months and that’s why we need to get back to our best attacking play because we need to the points because we need to win, especially at home.”

“This is competition which is very even, we have to do everything very well throughout the game to be able to win. We know we have room for improvement, and we have a need to win and the best way to do that is to get back to our best.”

“Every game our rivals create less danger against us, but we have to get back to our best attacking play to be a team that crosses, that generates chances, that gets to the box, so that we can dominate. When the team pushes like that, our fans encourage us even more and that helps us to win.”

“There’s no easy rival in this competition, we’re seeing that every week. We need to win, especially at home, we’re focused and we have that need which you can feel and it makes us more dangerous, so we have to concentrate for the full game to be consistent and transmit this energy and quick play that makes our rivals feel uncomfortable.”
