Eibar City Council & the SD Eibar Foundation stage workshops on the digital environment & innovation at Ipurua

The sessions, led by Barrabés Next, were attended by Eibar-based companies and organisations

Eibar City Coucil and the SD Eibar Foundation, along with Aragonese technology firm, Barrabés Next, today led sessions about the digital environment and innovation at the training rooms within Ipurua.

The first session within the programme - which is entitled Eibar Experience Lab - took place today and was attended by a dozen representatives from several leading businesses and companies from across Eibar, including Urkotronik, Debegesa, Armeria Eskola, El Corte Inglés, Eibar Centro Comercial Abierto, GAC Arkitektuak, young entrepreneurs from the Biharrian en Ubitxa project and the councillor for public finances and economic promotion at Eibar City Hall. The session was led by Alberto Albistegui and the SD Eibar Foundation.

The programme is divided up into three 4-hour sessions, which are due to take place during January and February. The focus of the workshops is on the digital environment and innovation, with specific projects aimed at making improvements to the city of Eibar, based on a digital workflow which features the following three elements: inspiration, ideas and protyping.

The hosting of activities such as the Eibar Experience Lab serves to see the Training Centre, situated within the North Stand at Ipurua, establish itself as a key player in the promotion of the business community. Meanwhile, it also enhances its reputation as an attractive venue at which to host company events, the meetings of different organisations and for the purposes of staging training courses, such as the Diploma in the Technical Management of Football Clubs, run in partnership with the UPV/EHU (University of the Basque Country), the official coaching courses run alongside the Guipuzcoan Football Federation and the Robotics courses run in conjunction with our sponsor, Wiko.
