Bad defeat for the Armeras in a game lacking in quality
SD Eibar Women fell to a 1-0 reverse at Unbe in what was a poor spectacle which barely served up any chances and which saw Armeras fail to perform to their best.
The first half ended without either side managing to muster any chances, although the visitors looked the brighter on 50/50 balls, in which they constantly came out on top.
The second period continued where the first half had ended, with neither side fashioning any clear-cut chances and the Baracaldo-based outfit continuing to pose a threat on set pieces. With 15 minutes remaining, a free-kick swung over from a wide area was nodded home from within the box to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Eibar tried to produce a reaction but their efforts proved to be in vain as they failed to create any chances of note and the visitors saw the game out to take all three points.
