Ríos Reina: "We have to be intense, but calm, with a cool head"

The Armeros' defender emphasizes that the second division is always very evenly matched, but "I don't know if this year's situation has ever been experienced before"

José Antonio Ríos Reina has assured that in Saturday's match at Ipurua against Villarreal B the team has to be as intense as ever, "but calm, with a cool head".

In a press conference after Wednesday’s training session at Ipurua, the defender from Seville highlighted that the second division is a competition that usually has a lot of equality, "but this year in the top positions, I don't know if I've seen anything like it before".

“I don't know if it has been experienced before no, there will be a lot of direct confrontations and that is where you can win the competition and we have to take advantage of it to get the points we want.”

“We have to keep a cool head, inside it’s heated but we have to keep a cool head because on Saturday we have another game and we can not have what happened to us with Espanyol, with Burgos, because they are three points as important as those we have lost and we have to go for it because the other teams also have clashes and we have to take care of our own and everyone else can do whatever they want.”

“Many people will think that this is an easy game, but in the end no game is easy, we have seen it for ourselves, and we have seen throughout the year that any team can beat you.”

“Now that the end of the season is coming, everyone is playing for something, whether at the top or at the bottom, and it is going to be very difficult and complicated, and that is why we have to keep a cool head, stay calm and apply our intensity as always.”
