Joseba Etxeberria: "We're at a key moment in the season, we're playing at home and we need to win".

The Eibar coach stresses that tomorrow's game at Ipurua against Eldense is going to be a long one, but "we need to step up a gear from the off".

Joseba Etxeberria stated that, with ten games remaining in the league, "we know that we're at a key moment in the season, we're playing at home, we've just come off the back of a loss and we need to win".

Speaking at the press conference ahead of tomorrow's game at Ipurua (4:15pm) against Eldense, the Eibar coach stressed that "it's crunch time and in order to achieve our objective of moving up the table, we can't afford to slip up at home.” He added: It's going to be a good match and the fans in the stands are going to help us".

Press conference quotes

“To achieve the objective of going up, we cannot fail at home. Away from home we continue attempting to be solid, but at home, the points have to stay here. Tomorrow, we go into it knowing that we take on a very solid team who have very clear ideas. We need to win. We need to take all three points at Ipurua.”

“We know that Eldense demands a lot. They are very organized. They are direct, and that means we will have to win the second balls. We have to be very strong in the contests in the box. We know it could be a long game, but we need to step it up a gear from the start, and the fans are going to help us.”

“We need to get back to winning ways after losing. It’s a point of focus for us. We know they are an organized team that demand a lot. We have to demand that our game shows more than that of Eldense. And for that reason, a quick reaction is very important. We have to make sure Eibar look like the best Eibar of the season, and that’s how to make sure the points remain at home.”
