Yoel successfully comes through operation on right knee

This morning saw SD Eibar goalkeeper Yoel Rodríguez successfully come through surgery after suffering a serious sprain to his right knee. According to the club's medical department, the Armeros' goalie will be ruled out for a period of approximately six months.

Yoel suffered the injury in June, when he was training during the off-season.

The operation took place in Vitoria and was conducted by Dr Mikel Sánchez.

The Vigo-born glovesman will remain at the clinic until Saturday and today began a rehabilitation programme which is set to involve several different stages.
