Yoel signs deal to remain at Eibar until 2019
Eibar have exercised the option to buy the former Valencia shotstopper
SD Eibar goalkeeper Yoel Rodríguez has signed a deal to remain at SD Eibar until 2019, after the club today exercised the purchase option in the loan deal which saw the custodian spend this season at Ipurua.
Yoel Rodríguez (Vigo, 1988) joined Eibar during pre-season of the 2016/17 campaign on loan from Valencia. During his first season at the club he made a total of 30 appearances (25 in LaLiga and five in the Copa del Rey).
The Galician glovesman drew particular praise following his excellent display at the Camp Nou last Sunday, in which he pulled off several notable saves and denied Leo Messi from the spot.
