Yerai Martin: "With work and identity we can maintain our good form"

Coach Yerai Martin has once again spoken about the positive results that the team is gaining and stressed that the match against Sporting Club de Huelva will not be easy

Spirits are still high after last weekend's victory forthe women's first team, as explained by coach Yerai Martin in the press conference prior to the match against Sporting Club de Huelva. The team has all of the players available, which means, as he has indicated on previous occasions, that the day-to-day dynamics of the team are positive and with great competition within the team.

Despite the 3-0 win against Sevilla on the previous matchday, Yerai Martin explained that they immediately got to work thinking about the next challenge: "Football has no memory and the last game is not worth anything if you don’t start thinking and preparing for the next one, you have to prepare for it and there is no time to relax". Although, he stressed, he is fortunate to have a team that is "consistent, when the results are good and also when they are not so good".

He did not want to get into the mathematics, as there are still many points at stake to finish the season: "There are still 21 points at stake, and it is true that we are in a very positive moment, in terms of work and results, but the road is long and we must remain consistent in our work; the teams below us are also doing a great job and getting points, so we must stay focused". In spite of everything, it is also true that the team is getting closer and closer to achieving the objective: "We are in the final stretch, doing a great job and we have to continue like this until the end to keep in this dynamic, and with identity we will be closer to achieving it".
