One half for each team and an even scoreline against Andorra (0-0)

Eibar remain top with a point

Eibar and Andorra played out a goalless draw in an evenly-balanced encounter which saw each side enjoy a period of dominance, with the scoreboard remaining unchanged.

In the first half, it was Andorra who took the initiative, playing the ball out from the back and bringing pace to their play when they overcame the home side's pressure. In the first 45 minutes, there were very few chances on goal, apart from a shot against the crossbar from the Andorra’s Sinan Bakis in the 34th minute.

Eibar came out in the second half with the intention of playing a more direct game in order to neutralise Andorra's dominance.

The game took a new turn when the visitors' Sergio Molina was sent off for a second yellow card in the 60th minute. Eibar coach Gaizka Garitano then brought on Ager Aketxe and Stoichkov to give the Armeros more ammunition.

The Armeros' first clear chance came in the 68th minute when Peru Nolaskoain's shot from outside the area went narrowly wide. In the 89th minute, Álvaro Vadillo tried his luck, also from outside the area, but his powerful shot crashed against the crossbar. Finally, in stoppage time, Juan Berrocal shot narrowly wide from a corner.

The Armeros tried until the final whistle against a side who were sitting deep given their numerical disadvantage, but the game ended goalless with 0-0 on the scoreboard.

Eibar remain leaders with a cushion over the chasing pack with nine games remaining in the competition
