The sectoral groups emerging from the SD Eibar Strategic Forum began their activities yesterday with the celebration of the first meeting of the group dedicated to Ipurua Tallarra.

The creation of these groups was decided at the founding meeting of the Strategic Forum held on 10 November last year with the presence of thirty representatives from public institutions, political parties, the Eibar fan clubs, sports clubs, retailers, businesses, and from the fields of journalism and education.

This body is responsible for directing the club’s most important management tool: the Strategic Plan. The five groups will provide ideas, solutions to problems and new content for each of the lines of activity in which they operate, so that these are then passed on to a plenary session of the Strategic Forum in late February.

This plan, designed to guide the destiny of the club between 2015 and 2017, was created after receiving input from 102 participants and must now be completed and implemented, in such a way that it is included in management plans for each department for the current season and the following one.

The Strategic Forum was established as a permanent body that will meet regularly and will consist of 30-35 people, divided into five Strategic Groups which will address the five strategic pillars of the management of the club:

- Sporting model

- Driving force for economic and social development

- Advanced management model

- Eibar brand

- Ipurua Tallarra

The meeting of the Group responsible for Ipurua Tallarra will be followed by the formation of the rest of the groups in the coming weeks.

Since the establishment of the Strategic Forum in November, two sessions involving the participation of the general public have taken place in which attendees have also offered their suggestions and contributions to the management model of the club.
