SD Eibar's Takashi Inui is currently in Japan, after having travelled to his homeland to attend a reception organised by the country's Prime Minister. In addition, this trip is also enabling SD Eibar to build closer relationships with their Japanese fans, with the player and the club's managing director, Patricia Rodríguez, today meeting up with members of the Toyko Peña Eibarresa supporters' group and its president Robert Verdier. There has also been time for Inui to sign autographs and pose with the Eibar flag at some of the most iconic spots across Toyko.

The SD Eibar representatives are tomorrow set to take their places at the bilateral business cooperation committee , an event which is to be attended by over 450 Japanese and Spanish business owners and will be opened by the King of Spain.

SD Eibar are in contact with Japanese companies that are interested in working with the club and these sorts of trips and meetings are part of the club's pursuit of one of its objectives of the season, namely the internationalisation of the club.

The club currently boasts a Japanese-language version of its website and posts in Japanese on its social media channels, whilst in the near future SD Eibar will have an online presence in Chinese.
