SD Eibar's women

To commemorate the International Women's Day we'd like to highlight that a 53% of the Club's management roles are currently performed by women.

SD Eibar Foundation decided to commemorate the International Women's Day highlighting that a 53% of the Club's management roles are currently performed by women, being an extraordinary example of equality in a traditionally masculine world as elite football is.

As a First Division Club, Eibar breaks the so called "cristal ceiling" that, as the data records state, exists in 3 out of 4 companies, where there aren't any managent or executive roles carried out by women.

SD Eibar is a different football Club that believes in a modern, creative and acurate management model, football beyond football after all, and is contrary to clichés portraying the football business as something that can only be run by men.

SD Eibar Foundation currently manages a football academy for 9 under 21's teams, being two of them women's teams, and also a First Women's Team that competes in the spanish Second Division.

These are some of Eibar's women starring in the #8MEibarFEM campaign (left to right):

Ainara L., Sales Manager
Arrate F., Press Officer
Patricia R., General Manager
Aimaia G., Member of the Board
Ostaiska E., only female Chief Doctor in La Liga
Gema B., Marketing Director
Ainhoa A., First Women's Team Captain
