SD Eibar offers tickets for Sporting Copa del Rey clash in exchange for food bag donations
Wednesday sees the launch of a campaign led by the SD Eibar Foundation, Eibar City Hall, the Gipuzkoa Food Bank and BM Supermercados
The SD Eibar Foundation, in collaboration with Eibar City Council, BM Supermarcados and the Gipuzkoa Food Bank, has rolled a campaign to offer supporters free entry to the Copa del Rey fixture against Sporting Gijón - to be played at Ipurua on 21 December at 19:00 - in exchange for food bag donations.
The campaign will be launched on Wednesday 14 December with a collection point for non-perishable food items to be set up at the entry to the BM store in Eibar (c/Julián Etxebarria), where several Armeros players and other club representatives will be in attendance.
In the days that follow, those who bring donations of bags of non-perishable food items into the Ipurua offices (from Monday to Friday from 10:00-13:00 and 16:00- 20:00) will receive tickets for the SD Eibar v Sporting Gijón game.
The items most sought after by the food bank are rice, pasta, pulses, tinned foods, cartoned milk and in particular, pureed and mashed baby food, as well as nappies.
