SD Eibar now boasts an official supporters' group in Venezuela

The now official Peña Eibar Venezuela supporters' club will offer the team its backing from the South American country

In a week which sees Eibar play host to Real Madrid, the Armeros have received the backing of the latest supporters' group to have been granted official status by the club. On this occasion, the group in question is the Peña Eibar Venezuela supporters' club.

The campaign for supporters' groups from across the globe to be afforded official status continues to evidence the affection felt for SD Eibar throughout all corners of the world. In this instance, a group of 14 Venezuela-based Armeros have joined forces to show their support for the club. Indeed, the group already has a very active Twitter account (@SDEibarVZLA) and are currently working on launching a Facebook page.

The president of the group, José Solano, represents the group's members, who meet at their headquarters in Barinas. Meanwhile, the club also boasts members from other states throughout Venezuela and has a presence in the cities of Puerto Ordaz, Barquisimeto and Valencia.

After having completed all of the relevant steps, today saw the Peña Eibar Venezuela supporters' group  granted official status to become the club's 33rd official peña.  SD Eibar wish to offer a reminder that applications to become official supporters' groups are currently being accepted.
