SD Eibar Foundation and Gipuzkoa Red Cross have collected games and toys to help struggling families open a gift this Christmas

The SD Eibar Foundation and the Gipuzkoa Red Cross have finished collecting games and toys, which will go to families who find themselves in social difficulty this Christmas, allowing them to still open a gift during the festive period. Many different toys were donated at the Orsaixan space at Ipurua, while others were purchased by the SD Eibar Foundation.

As was also the case in previous editions of this initiative, the collection called for donations of new toys and games that were educational, non-warlike and for both genders, with these to then be distributed to families in need.

The men’s first team players Arbilla, Sergio and Yoel, and the women's first team players Laura Camino, Jujuba and Ane Campos, together with volunteers from the Red Cross, helped with the collection and organisation of the games and toys. 

The club exchanged tickets for the match against Real Oviedo in Ipurua on Sunday December 11th for the toys that were donated, with this incentive helping make the campaign a success.
