SD Eibar begin the post-season tour in the USA

SD Eibar have started the post-season tour in the USA during which the team will have the opportunity to play two games, the first in Philadelphia against the Philadelphia Fury, and the second in Las Vegas against the New York Cosmos.

The objectives of this pioneering initiative, organised in collaboration with the promoter Global Football Partners, are to improve the brand image of Eibar and the internationalisation of the Club, to bring the club closer to shareholders, supporters and fan club members in this country, and to open up possibilities for medium-term sponsorship in the USA. In addition, SD Eibar has signed a collaboration agreement with the Fundación de Fútbol Profesional, within the framework of the LFP World Challenge, through which La Liga will provide logistical support and help to publicise the SD Eibar Tour both within the USA and internationally.

The first match will be played on 22 May in Philadelphia, at 5pm local time, and 11pm in Spain. The match will be played at the Richard Wackar Stadium with a capacity of 5,000 spectators.

The second game will be on 25 May against the New York Cosmos, at 7pm local time and 4am in Spain. The match will be played at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, which has a capacity of 36,800 spectators.

During the stay in the USA, the Club will organise a series of events with fan club members, shareholders and supporters as well as Basque groups based in the United States. They will return home on 26 May, which will mark the beginning of the holidays for the team.
