SD Eibar have received 99.2 points out of a possible 100 in the 2016 Transparency of Football Club report (Infut) published today by Transparency International Spain (TI-Spain).

Just one LaLiga Santander club, in the form of Real Betis, and one Liga 1|2|3 outfit, CD Numancia, received 100 points.

Coming in behind these two clubs are Eibar on 99.2 points, who finish ahead of Lugo (98.3), Real Madrid (95.8) and FC Barcelona (93.3).

This year's Infut report is the second annual report to have been published by TI-Spain. In last year's rankings, Eibar topped the standings alongside Real Madrid. For a second successive year, Eibar have been ranked amongst the most transparent clubs.

The Infut report involved an assessment of the transparency levels within the Primera and Segunda División clubs with the use of 60 criteria covering five areas of transparency featuring what TI-Spain consider to be the most crucial information which must be made available to members of the public.

In attendance at the ceremony held to present the report, which took place today in Madrid, were: Jesús Lizcano (president of TI-Spain), Javier Tebas (president of LaLiga), José María Gimeno (president of the Public Procurement Observatory) and Jesús Sánchez-Lambás (member of the board of directors at TI-Spain).
