SD Eibar and the Sports Business Institute (SBI) Barcelona join forces to launch an innovative online course entitled “How to Run a Successful Football Club” based on the club’s business model

SD Eibar have signed an agreement with SBI Barcelona to launch an online program focused on how to run a successful football club. The four-month course will provide candidates with an inside look at the club’s successful business model across all areas of the organization.

The program will reflect the real-life professional environment of working inside a football club, based on the knowledge, know-how and experience of SD Eibar’s club professionals.

Patricia Rodriguez, CEO of SD Eibar: “We have been working several months with SBI to put together this program which is unique in the marketplace. The program offers students the opportunity to learn first-hand from the professionals at our club in order for them to get a deep understanding on how to run a football club. The main advantage of it being online is that students can study it irrespective of where they are located in the world”.

The first edition of this program will start in February 2019 and will be delivered online with live weekly web conference classes. At the end of the course students will have the option of visiting SD Eibar’s Ipurua stadium for two days to learn more about the club in-situ.
