Rubén Peña "It would be good for our fans to see us win away"
Peña spoke to the press this morning to offer his thoughts ahead of Sunday's clash
Rubén Peña is all set to make a return to CD Leganés' Butarque stadium on Sunday, but this time round he'll emerge from the visitors' dressing room and as an SD Eibar player, a prospect which he has revealed leaves him with mixed emotions."It'll be quite a special game as I'll be coming up against old teammates and a set of fans who really got behind me during my time there. However, we'll be going all out to get the three points. If I play and get the chance to score, I intend on taking it, but I think that, out for respect for my old club, I wouldn't celebrate the goal".
Peña insists that he is fully focused on claiming maximum points to cap off a fine year ahead of the Christmas break, "We're raring to win away from home, after this we've got the Copa del Rey game and after that we're hoping to go into the break feeling relaxed. It certainly wouldn't be the same to head into Christmas on 25 points instead of 22. It'll be a tough game because they are a really demanding side that always competes. We've now gone three away games without tasting victory and it would be good for our fans to see us win away, before rounding things off in the Copa del Rey game".
When quizzed about which areas will be key to overcoming Los Pepineros, Peña noted, "They're a very compact side that are tough to break down and they always try to make sure that they get themselves into positions in which they're closer to winning games than losing them. They'll see it as being important to end the year by picking up points, but the same goes for us too".
