REPORT: Eibar beaten 3-1 by Real Valladolid after playing almost the whole game with 10 men

Berrocal's dismissal in the 11th minute was a blow for the Armeros, who had taken an early lead.

The early dismissal of Juan Berrocal (min.11) when Eibar were leading the scoreboard changed the game against Real Valladolid as the Armeros fell in the second half despite their early advantage.

Jon Bautista's goal in the 2nd minute after an assist from Peru Nolaskoain put the visitors in front, but the tailwind didn't last long.

In the 11th minute, Juan Berrocal brought down Sylla as he was about to face Luca and was sent off with a straight red card.

Joseba Etxeberria was forced to change the game plan and the defensive set-up proved to be effective until halftime, hardly conceding chances to the opponent.

In the second half, Valladolid kept looking for the comeback and benefitted from two brilliant goals from Messeguer in the 57th minute and Sylla in the 60th minute to turn the scoreline around.

The goals really hurt Eibar, who had no room to react. Valladolid scored the third goal in the 68th minute and that was the end of the game.

With 10 games left, Eibar are still in contention and will begin preparations for Saturday's game against Eldense in Eibar tomorrow.
