Raúl del Pozo named new coordinator of SD Eibar Academy
Del Pozo replaces Raúl del Pozo in the role
Raúl del Pozo has been named as the new coordinator of the SD Eibar Academy, replacing Mikel González, who has left the club after having occupied the role for the past three years.
Raúl del Pozo (Vitoria, 1979) has spent his entire career at CD Aurrera de Vitoria, a club at which he has been for the past 15 years and where most recently he was the director of football.
The Armeros' newly appointed Academy coordinator declared that the position represents "a challenge and the change I needed in my life".
"Generally speaking, I believe that here at Eibar things are done in a similar way to how we worked at Aurrera, with humility and teamwork at the heart of things. Initially, I will be continuing with the fine work that has been carried out up until now, before gradually doing my little bit to try and improve things".
