Prizewinners of the photography competition Eibar Munduan (Eibar in the World)
The competition was organised by SD Eibar Foundation on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the Club
The photo Great Arch of Tehran, by Igor Mayora, is the winner of the competition “Eibar in the World” organised by SD Eibar Foundation as part of the celebratory events of the 75th Anniversary of its founding.
This competition was announced in October 2013 by the 75th Anniversary Commission when the team was in the Second Division.
In July 2015, with the team in the First Division, the avalanche of photos received and their quality led to the rules being updated and more prizes being added.
It was also decided to organise an exhibition with a selection of the photos received, which was opened in Topaleku (Kultu) in September of last year. One hundred of the three hundred images received by the Club were exhibited.
The visitors to the exhibition voted for their favourite photos and the result was the following
First prize: Great Arch of Tehran (Iran), Igor Mayora: first team shirt signed by the first team, two VIP invitations to watch a league game from the Presidential Box and a merchandising pack.
Second prize: Macchu Pichu (Peru), Leire Suárez: first team shirt (un-signed), two VIP invitations to watch a league game from the Presidential Box and a merchandising pack.
Third prize: Chichén Itzá (Mexico), Iker Ruiz: a guided tour of the facilities at Ipurua for two people, two tickets for the Main Stand to watch a league game and a merchandising pack.
Fourth prize: Anís del Mono (Badalona), Elena Alamán: two tickets for the Main Stand to watch a league game and a merchandising pack.
Fifth prize: Sea in Dubrovnik (Croatia), Jorge I.: a guided tour of the facilities at Ipurua for two people and a merchandising pack.
