The SD Eibar reserve team continues to make steady progress in the Segunda RFEF. After winning at home against Ejea, the team achieved its first consecutive victories of the season by defeating Beasain in the opening minutes of the game. Now, they will aim to extend this momentum in the eighth round of the championship, which will bring Real Unión to Areitio. A mid-table clash between two teams eager to climb to the top positions, the match will take place on Saturday, October 25, at 19:00 hours.

Led by Íñigo Pérez, Eibar B seems to have found its rhythm in its second year in the category. With seven points out of the last twelve possible, the reserve team has climbed to the 11th position in Group II, tying in points (10) with their next opponent, Real Unión de Irún. The border team, after three consecutive draws and seeing their brilliant start slowed, suffered their first defeat of the season in the last round, losing at home to Sestao River (0-2). Nevertheless, the team from Irún remains a clear candidate for promotion and will test the improvements of an Eibar team that relies on Areitio to stop their talented rival.
