Pre-registration period extended for basic and advanced coaching courses at Ipurua
Official coaching courses return to the Ipurua Training Centre for the 2016-2017 academic year
The pre-registration deadline to book places on the official coaching courses at Ipurua has been extended until 15 September. These courses, which are jointly organised by the SD Eibar Foundation and the coaching department at the Guipuzcoan Football Federation, will be run during the 2016-2017 academic year.
This season, in addition to the basic level course (formerly Level 1), which was offered last year, the advanced level qualification is also being laid on (formerly Level 2). Completion of the two official courses leads to the award of the UEFA B and UEFA A licences respectively, both of which enable coaches to train abroad.
In a new format for the coming year, the teaching of both courses - which take place between October 2016 and April 2017 - will be held on one day of the week in a five-hour session (plus the corresponding practical hours). The basic course costs €900, whilst the cost of the advanced course is €1,100, sums which can be paid in two instalments.

This course sees the Ipurua Training Centre, which is managed by the SD Eibar Foundation, further complement its training provision for the 2016-2017 academic year. In addition to the official coaching courses, there's a return for the diploma in the technical management of football clubs, which is run with the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and is currently open for registration.
