Peru Nolaskoain: "Right now it is difficult to see a team more intense than us"
The player from Zumaia emphasises that "when you are happy you bring out your best form"
Peru Nolaskoain assured that "right now it is difficult to see a more intense team than us" and added that "in Ipurua we can't leave anything behind, we have to ask the public to be as they have been so far, to be player number 12".
In a press conference after today's training session at Ipurua, the Zumaiarra midfielder stressed that "when you are happy and content you bring out your best version, Joseba has given me a lot of confidence since the first day and I'm experiencing the best I've experienced so far and may the streak continue".
PERU NOLASKOAIN PRESS CONFERENCE QUOTES
“I think wins always help, especially after a hard blow like against Espanyol, but they also make you weaker, we have to be careful and we can’t relax just because we won at the home of the leader. We just have to continue training hard like last week to make Burgos uncomfortable from the first minute to the last.”
“We’re expecting the Burgos who play at home, we can’t expect them to come here and just spend their afternoon here. We have to expect the best from all of their players, who have a lot of talent, and be careful. If we relax for even three minutes, it will cost us.”
“It’s beautiful to be in this fight, but it’s also hard. Being in the fight and then not making it like the last two years is very hard. We have to think about that and not leave anything for us to look back upon in the future.”
“Right now I think it is difficult to see a team who are more intense than us, so we have to keep that up.”
“It’s hard to talk about yourself, when I arrived the team was already in a very good position. If they wanted me it’s because they thought I contributed something last year, maybe a bit of physicality in midfield to give Matheus freedom, who is one of the best players in Segunda for me.”
“I already knew where I was coming, so I didn’t need an adaptation period.”
“We play three of the next four at home, and we can’t let anything get away from us.”
