Peru Nolaskoain, centenary with SD Eibar
The midfielder from Zumaia, who joined the club in the summer of 2022, reached a hundred matches wearing the Armera jersey against Racing.
Peru Nolaskoain reached this Sunday the milestone of 100 official matches with Sociedad Deportiva Eibar, after playing the match corresponding to the 16th round against Real Racing Club. The midfielder from Zumaia, who is in his fourth season with the team, has already accumulated almost 6,500 minutes, with 70 starts and 8 goals since his arrival at the blue and red team.
A growing journey in Ipurua
Nolaskoain first arrived in Eibar in the 2022/23 season, on loan from Athletic Club. Trained at Antiguoko and a debutant in La Liga under Eduardo Berizzo, the midfielder from Gipuzkoa quickly found his place in Ipurua, becoming a key player for Gaizka Garitano with 35 matches, 22 of them as a starter.
After ending his association with Athletic in the winter transfer window of the following season, he signed with Eibar until 2027. In that second half of the 2023/24 season, he contributed 18 appearances and two goals, establishing himself as a reliable asset for the midfield.
At 26 years old, Nolaskoain became an indispensable player for Joseba Etxeberria, who utilized him in 37 matches during the 2024/25 campaign. His importance to the team did not diminish with the arrival of Beñat San José as head coach.
Consistency and leadership
In the current 2025/26 season, Nolaskoain has accumulated 10 matches, 9 as a starter, maintaining his average of two goals per season and reaffirming himself as one of the pillars of the team, both on and off the field. His commitment, professionalism, and perseverance have made him a role model for the new generations of SD Eibar, who see in him an example of growth and dedication.
