Pedro León: We'll have to put in a perfect all-round performance, have some luck and need them to have an off-day

The Armeros midfielder spoke to the press after this morning's training session at Atxabalpe

Speaking to the media gathered at Eibar's training ground, Pedro León stressed just how tough Sunday's clash at Real Madrid will be, "When you face the best, or one of the best sides in the world it's always special, but we're aware of the mini-league we're involved in and we know it'll be tough. We need to go out there and give our all, whilst being aware that it'll be difficult to get the three points".

When quizzed about the recent form of Sunday's opposition, León commented that, "I think that Madrid are just as dangerous, regardless of whether they come into the game on the back of bad or good results, and all the more so when they're playing at home. For a team like ours it's difficult, winning at the Bernabéu is very difficult".

Visibly happy with life at Eibar, the midfielder spoke of how quickly and easily he had adapted to his new surroundings, "I've always said that when Mendilibar got in touch, I agreed to come here straight away. Mendi is a special coach, I've got a special relationship with him and I feel very much at home at this club, it's a small club, but it's very professionally run and I'm very happy here".

In reference to his fine recent form, León insisted, "It's still very early days, but I'm happy to be helping the team out with goals, I don't set myself any targets, I'm not one to set myself a figure, I just work as hard as I can".

To close, the summer signing confirmed that Sunday's game will be a special one on a personal level, "For me, it's always special to come up against any of my former clubs, but it's just another game, where there are three points up for stake, although any game against a former team is a special one".
