Pedro León to undergo surgical clean-out on left knee tomorrow

Pedro León is set to be operated on tomorrow in Vitoria by Dr Mikel Sánchez, who will undertake a surgical clean-out on the internal hypertrofical scar in his left knee.
The Murcian-born midfielder, who had started to rejoin group training sessions around two weeks ago, has upped his workload in recent sessions in a bid to mirror the demands of a matchday, but has found that his knee has failed to respond to the required intensity levels.
This morning he met with Dr Sánchez and it was decided that he will be operated on tomorrow.
