Lombán joins SD Eibar
The defender, who was a free agent, has penned a one-year deal with the option for a second season
Central defender David Lombán has today signed for SD Eibar after successfully passing his medical at IMQ.
David Rodríguez Lombán (Mieres, 1987) checks in at Ipurua after having activated a clause in his contract at previous club, Granada CF, after the Andalusian outfit were relegated to Segunda División. Lombán has signed a one-year deal at Ipurua with the option for a second season.
After taking his first steps in the game in the youth ranks at Real Oviedo and Valencia CF, Lombán went on to turn out for Salamanca, Xerez, Barcelona B, Elche and Granada. He has spent the last four seasons in LaLiga after two campaigns at Elche and a further two at Granada.
Throughout his career, he has made a total of 117 top-flight appearances, which have yielded seven goals, and has featured 129 times in Segunda, netting on seven occasions.
