Environmental sustainability will be one of the main themes of Eibar's summer campus
Children will take part in excursions and activities focused on environmental education
Environmental sustainability will be one of the main focuses of the summer campus organised by SD Eibar Foundation, which will take place in three weekly turns between June 26 and July 15.
The children participating in the campus will take part in excursions and activities focused on environmental education and care for the environment.
The programmed activities include one excursion per turn with the following destinations: Deba, Elgeta countryside and Eibar's Garbigune.
SD Eibar Foundation collaborates in this campaign with the Aztertu program of the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government and with the County Community of Debabarrena.
Aztertu is an environmental education program that, through knowledge of the environment and citizen participation, aims to draw attention and raise awareness of the need to care for the environment, while seeking to establish a sustainable relationship between human beings and the environment around them.
In addition to this environmental awareness, the children attending the campus will have other complementary activities such as talks on healthy habits and nutrition or a guided tour of Ipurua to show them the new facilities.
