Eibar coach Joseba Etxeberria stated that "we'll have to put in a great performance" to beat Amorebieta at Lezama, who he considers "a tough nut to crack in this division" and a "very competitive" side.

Speaking at the press conference ahead of Sunday’s clash with Amorebieta, the Armeros' boss stressed that "we're going to have to be very strong in our battles because they're very intense and very precise on the ball as they're very organised".

JOSEBA ETXEBERRIA’S PRESS CONFERENCE QUOTES

“It’s a special game, it’s a derby. I think the two teams know each other well. It’ll be a very even game because Amorebieta don’t give much away and it’s very hard to create goal-scoring opportunities when they have such great structure, but we are confident and in good form.”

“This is a process. At the beginning, we started badly and had bad results. We knew that the start of recovering was to play well, in defence and in attack, to defend and attack all together, and I think we’re starting to see that and starting to win. I think we can see that as we’re getting results, even though it’s very difficult to get points in this division.”

“I’m calm because I know what we suffered in the first few weeks of the season and I know that people here want more. We want to win again. We have to go out to win and as the minutes go by we want to win that.”

“Against Mirandés we knew that it would be an interesting game, and even after conceding the equaliser, we went for them and were able to win the game, we didn’t have any doubts.”

“At Lezama, we have to play the same way. We have to be very strong in the challenge because they are very intense, and we have to be precise on the ball because they’re very organised.”

“It’s an unusual week because there are a lot of games with little time to prepare, but we are ready for it and are prepared to win again.”

“We have all kinds of motivation. We want to keep this run going. We want to continue climbing up the table because we come from a very low position. We know the challenge we face tomorrow, Amorebieta are a tricky opponent in this division. Winning again would be two consecutive away wins, and that’s very difficult to do in this competition.”

“It’s lucky for a coach to be able to choose between so many players. This week with so many games, we need those players who are fresh to give us a bit extra. We saw that in Miranada in midweek. It doesn’t surprise us because we see that in training, we like to compete in training and that serves to help us in games.”

“We have attacking potential, but with good play and wins, we are seeing that our attackers are gaining more confidence and daring to do more.”
