Joseba Etxeberria to continue as Eibar coach for another season
The coach from Elgoibar renews his contract until June 2025
Eibar and Joseba Etxeberria have reached an agreement for the renewal of the contract that unites both parties for one more season, until June 2025.
Along with Joseba Etxeberria,assistant coach Jorge Pérez and physical trainer Luis Prieto have also renewed their contracts until 2025.
Etxeberria (Elgoibar, 1977) is in his first season as Eibar's coach and he has managed the Armeros in 31 league matches, with a record of 15 wins, 7 draws and 9 defeats.
The coach from Gipuzkoa began his coaching career in Athletic Club's youth academy. In professional football, he has coached SD Amorebieta (Segunda B) in the 2017-2018 season, CD Tenerife (Segunda División) between 2018 and 2019, Athletic Club B (Segunda B) between 2019 and 2021 and CD Mirandés (Segunda División) between 2021 and 2023.
