José Luis Mendilibar collected the Ramón Cobo Award from the president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) at a ceremony held this morning at the Ciudad de Fútbol headquarters in Madrid. This accolade pays tribute to the fine job done by the Eibar boss, as well as his exemplary attitude throughout last season.

Taking their places alongside Ángel María Villar to present the awards were the president of the coaches' committee, Eduardo Caturla and national team coach, Julen Lopetegui.

The Ramón Cobo awards were launched in 2011 in honour of the former president of the RFEF's coaches' committee and seek to recognise the achievement of those coaches who have stood out on account of a particular attitude at a given time or their overall conduct throughout the season.
