Jon Bautista stated that over the last nine matchdays "we've shown that we have the team to be at the top of the table and to fight for our objectives".
Speaking at a press conference following today's training session at Atxabalpe, the Eibar striker stressed that "these situations aren't very common and we have to take advantage of them as much as possible to keep on adding to our tally".
On his own form, he added: “I’m happy personally for the goals and the assists, but it’s about the team. We want to keep the run going so that we can fight for our objectives.”
Bautista will receive the trophy on Sunday at Ipurua before the match against Albacete, which recognizes him as the best player in La Liga Hypermotion in October. "It's an achievement to be the best player of the month, but the most important thing is that the team is doing well and we have won points."
