Iván Ramis successfully comes through operation on tibial malleolus fracture
The recovery period is undefined and will depend on the player's progress
Iván Ramis has successfully come through the surgery he underwent today after suffering a fracture to the tibial malleolus in his left foot during the course of Friday's training session at Atxabalpe.
The operation was performed by Dr. De la Fuente at the Pakea clinic in San Sebastián. Ramis will remain at the clinic overnight and is set to be released tomorrow.
According to the club's medical department, the recovery period following this type of injury varies and depends on the player's progress and as such, it would be risky to state a return date.
