Iván Alejo suffers partial rupture of posterior capsule of left knee
The injury doesn't require an operation and the Armeros' midfielder is set to be sidelined for 6-8 weeks
Tests carried out on SD Eibar midfielder Iván Alejo have revealed that the midfielder has suffered a partial rupture of the posterior capsule of his left knee.
Eibar's medical department has indicated that this sort of injury, which is set to keep the winger out for 6-8 weeks, doesn't require surgery, with Alejo instead poised to undergo a conservative recovery programme.
The Eibar man suffered the injury in the final stages of the first half of Saturday's encounter against Sevilla FC at the Sánchez-Pizjuán and had to be taken off in stretcher.
