Ipurua to host the third and fourth day of competition of the National League of 7-a-side Cerebral Palsy Football

Eight teams with players with cerebral palsy and acquired brain damage will be participating

The Ipurua Annexe pitch will be the venue this weekend for the third and fourth day of competition of the National League of 7-a-side Cerebral Palsy Football.

Eight teams are taking part in this league, including Eibar, made up of players with cerebral palsy and acquired brain damage.

The matches will take place at the Annex, with free admission for fans, on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Eibar's opponents will be Hércules Paralímpico and Fundación 2ª Parte.

Each team will play two matches (one on Saturday and one on Sunday), in addition to the two matches played in Castelldefels in January in the first training camp for this league. Eibar’s team won its first two matches.

The first phase of this National League, organised by the Spanish Federation of Sports for People with Cerebral Palsy and Acquired Cerebral Damage, will conclude in March in Madrid with three more matches. With this, the eight participating teams will all have played against each other.

All the teams will meet again in April in Navalmoral de la Mata for the Play Off in which the top four teams from the first phase will play the semifinals and the final and the other four will compete for fifth to eighth places.

The participating teams are: Levante, SD Eibar, Federación Extremeña, Amdda, Disport, Fundación 2ª Parte, Hércules Paralímpico and Tenerife. Eibar is the only Basque representative in the competition.

SD Eibar Fundazioa would like to thank Koskor, Audiovisuales ESA, Patatas Sarriegi, Insalus and Coca Cola for their collaboration in this project.
