Garitano: “We are only thinking of tomorrow’s game, we don’t have to worry about anything else”

The Eibar head coach has highlighted that Andorra are “a breath of fresh air to the division”

Gaizka Garitano says Eibar are only thinking “of tomorrow’s game, we don’t have to worry about anything else, nor burn more energy thinking further ahead.”

In the press conference ahead of Sunday’s game at Ipurua (14.00h), the Armero boss has highlighted that Andorra are “a breath of fresh air, adjusting very well to the division.”

THE RUN-IN

“We are in the final run-in, with only 30 points left. We want to go game by game, thinking only of tomorrow and knowing that if we win, we are going to remain in our current position. We don’t have to think about anything else, nor burn more energy thinking further ahead.”

ANDORRA

“Albacete and Andorra are revelations, not only because they are doing well in the table, but for what they are showing. Andorra is a team that everyone looks at a lot because of the way they play, it’s a little different to the rest. They are a breath of fresh air and they are adjusting very well to the division. They deservedly beat us there, and now we will try to have a good game to beat them.”

“They have players with a lot of technical quality. We know the type of team they are very well, but also we know that during the year, we have picked up a lot of points, and that is worth something. We have the same opportunity to win tomorrow as them. It’s a team that we all respect a lot.”

“I love the personality that they have to always play the same way, whether it’s against first or last. We also play the same way on any pitch and that’s what we are going to do this week as well.

“We are doing well, and Andorra are also doing very well. We will surely see a beautiful game and the best team will win. We are not two teams who play with an adapting style of play, we play how we feel and for me, that’s what is most important in football.”

IPURUA

“At home, we always feel comfortable, though away we are also reaping very good results. But at Ipurua, it’s like nowhere else because of the connection we have with the fans. Within the difficulties of the game, we will try to have a good game to win.”

ALTERNATIVES

“We have a lot of alternatives from the middle forward, with players that are competing very well. Now it is difficult to put together a squad having so many good people, but it’s because of this we are top. Everyone is supporting in the time they have. Some from the start, others in the second half.”
