
From tomorrow, SD Eibar Alevín (U11) will be competing in the National League Promises Tournament
The competition, organised by La Liga and the Larguero Foundation, is being held in Villarreal (Castellón)
For the second time in the Club’s history, the SD Eibar team “Alevín Rendimiento” (U11) is taking part in the prestigious National Tournament “La Liga Promises”, which will be played this weekend at the Pamesa Sports Complex of Villarreal CF.
The twenty First Division teams compete in this tournament, with the exception of Athletic Club Bilbao, which has been replaced by Deportivo Alavés.
The team left Ipurua first thing this morning and will be at the presentation of the tournament at 19:30 in the Madrigal Stadium.
Eibar’s fixture list for Friday’s games is as follows:
• 12:00. Real Betis-SD Eibar
• 18:00. Real Madrid-SD Eibar
• 19:00. SD Eibar - Las Palmas
• 20:00. SD Eibar-Real Sociedad
If the team classifies, the final phase will be played on Saturday and Sunday in the morning.
Travelling with the club expedition are the coaches, Egoitz Leturiondo, Ander Quintas and Eneko Zalduegi, as well as Mikel González, responsible for grassroots football at the club and Eder Maestre, responsible for methodology, both of whom will be attending the seminar for academy directors that has been organised by La Liga during these days.
Although only 12 players can compete in the tournament, all 16 players that make up the squad of Alevín Rendimiento have travelled: Unai Ayala, Aitor Arrizabalaga, Ander Ereña, Iker Morales, Ander Arrizabalaga, Unai Marquez, Gaizka Zubizarreta, Jon Etxaburu, Ander Argente, Aimar Kristobal, Oier Errasti, Mikel Aspiazu, Badder El Addadi, Ander Yarza, Oinatz Zamakola and Josu Tejada.
