From the biggest European leagues, SD Eibar is the club with the third biggest growth in Facebook in April
In terms of percentage growth, it was surpassed only by Leicester from England and the German team, Wolfsburg
Out of all the teams in the five main European leagues, SD Eibar is the club with the third greatest increase in Facebook followers during the month of April, according to a report produced by the website on football and business, News Tank Football, based in Paris.
According to the report, the European club from the English, Spanish, German, Italian and French leagues that has shown the greatest growth is Leicester City from England (+38.6%), followed by the German club Wolfsburg (+13.0%) and SD Eibar (+8.7%).
In La Liga, behind SD Eibar, the clubs with the biggest percentage increase in growth are Getafe (+6.3%) and Villarreal (+5.2%). The average percentage increase for teams in La Liga during the period has been 2.8%.
At this moment, SD Eibar’s Facebook page registers 29,947 “likes”.
