French business owners visit Ipurua & participate in working session at the ground

Last Saturday saw 15 French business owners given a first-hand taste of the Ipurua experience, in which they enjoyed a stadium tour, watched the game and were treated to the best of Basque cuisine in the stadium's hospitality area.

Saturday 4 March saw Ipurua play host to a group of 15 entrepreneurs from the French Basque Country, which included three estate agent owners, the directors of: Carrefour Biarritz, the gas company Suez, Forge Adouter, Ventes Peio (food company) and the chief editor of Iparralde de SudOuest.

The group of French visitors were given a behind-the-scenes tour of Ipurua courtesy of the SD Eibar Marketing department and the club's Foundation, before they were treated to the finest Basque cuisine in the hospitality area in the North Stand. The guests then took their seats to take in the SD Eibar v Real Madrid game.

This visit and the working session are part of a project led by the club's Marketing department and the Foundation to promote Ipurua within the business community with a view to ensuring that the stadium's facilities are used on days other than home matchdays.  With this in mind, the French Basque Country represents a prime target market for SD Eibar given its proximity.
