Former SD Eibar player José Luis Valdés, known as Txetxu el Negro, has passed away in Bilbao, aged 89.
A left winger, José Valdés turned out for Eibar over the course of a dozen seasons during the 1950s and played his part as the side managed by Antonio Corral secured two Campeón de España de aficionados (Spanish amateur football) titles.
