At a press conference this morning Mikel Larrañaga presided over the presentation of the two new additions to the azulgrana squad. The first to appear before the media has been the Frenchman Florian Lejeune. Fran Garagarza confirmed the interest in Lejeune “He has been on our radar for a few years, at the time it wasn’t possible, he is a defender we wanted. It hasn’t been easy but both he and his agent should be congratulated because they have been the ones to make the operation possible”.
Garagarza confirmed that these kind of signings are the future of Eibar “We have made an investment because to sign a centre back from Manchester City and have him for 4 years is very good news for Eibar. We are very happy. Lejeune is the future, because the market for central defenders is very complicated, every team in our league is looking for them, we have moved very quickly to get him”.
For his part, Florian Lejeune expressed his enthusiasm at forming part of the squad “I am very happy, above all to play in the First Division, which is my dream.
